Logran relajación con yoga
In the article published on October 14, 2020, I, Rashid Azarang, founder of the "Yoga Chipinque" community, detail an inspiring yoga session led by Montse Carrillo. This session was a part of our regular gatherings aimed at fostering a mindful lifestyle and good vibes, held with strict adherence to health guidelines and social distancing due to COVID-19.
Montse Carrillo expresses gratitude for being able to continue sharing yoga practices that nourish the mind, body, and spirit, despite the pandemic. She highlights the openness of participants to connect with their inner selves through yin yoga and meditation. The community, which began as a small group during quarantine, has grown to 120 members, gathering in open spaces like a palapa for their sessions.
The classes, conducted from Monday to Friday at dusk, last for an hour and focus on two types of yoga. Vinyasa yoga, a dynamic traditional form, aims to connect the body, while other classes are centered on meditation and mindfulness. Montse and I emphasize the positive impact of these practices on participants' physical and spiritual well-being.
I also note the careful consideration given to health safety measures during these sessions, ensuring small groups and sanitation protocols. This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting meditation and mindfulness in a safe and supportive environment.
The article underscores the importance of finding creative ways to continue community activities like yoga during challenging times, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of the "Yoga Chipinque" community.
